Before glass bottles became the common use to tote liquids, stoneware jugs were used. During the late 19th century, American potters produced salt-glazed stoneware vessels that commonly held whiskey and moonshine. This jug likely sat on old general store counters, cellar pantries or on a farmhouse kitchen shelf.

Once resting in old farmhouses and quiet village kitchens across Europe, these authentic vintage wooden breadboards have lived long, useful lives. Each one carries the marks of time — gentle cracks, hand-set metal repairs, worn edges, and a beautifully aged patina shaped by decades of daily use.
Every board tells its own quiet story through natural wear and imperfections, making each piece truly one of a kind. No two are alike. These boards are not food safe and are intended for decorative use only.
Available sizes:

Unique early 1800s Davenport transferware platter made in Staffordshire, England. Features a romantic blue transfer scene of a grand church or monastery framed by an intricate geometric border in rich cobalt blue.
Marked on the reverse with the impressed lowercase “davenport” and anchor mark, one of Davenport’s earliest backstamps dating between 1793 and 1810. Made using the traditional transfer printing process, where engraved copper plates transferred detailed scenes onto pottery by hand.
Lovely age and character throughout with authentic crazing and wear that adds to its old-world charm. A timeless English piece for display, layering, or everyday use with care. There is visible repair on back side cracking.
